Smile Merchants – Dental chain gets more investment to expand
Global impact investment firm Unitus Seed Fund has invested in Free3 Healthcare, which owns and operates the Smile Merchants chain (Mumbai-based) of dental clinics. This chain right now operates four dental clinics around Bhiwandi. Their target is tier 2 and tier 3 cities. Rushi Trivedi, a dentist has co-founded the company in 2012.
Smile Merchants puts trained technicians into “spoke” clinics to handle the 90 percent of dental patients who need primary care including root canals, tooth extractions and fillings. Tougher cases are referred up to “hub” clinics in the larger cities. MORE HERE ………LINK 2

According to a study by scientists at the University of Michigan, the presence of Staphylococcus aureus bacteria could make affected individuals more vulnerable to infection.
