NEET replaced by AIPMT
NEET exam has now been replaced by the more flexible All India Pre Medical Entrance Test (AIPMT), to be conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education, which earlier conducted NEET.AIPMT is to be used for admission to undergraduate medical and dental courses and is taking place on May 4, 2014. AIPMT scores are used for admission to 15 per cent seats in Government Medical/Dental College and are also used by participating private colleges. MORE HERE
Dental, medical, eng course fees remain unchanged
Fee structure for undergraduate engineering, medical and dental courses for the academic year 2014-15 would remain almost the same as 2013-14.
Private college managements met Chief Minister Siddaramaiah here on Friday, and it was decided to go ahead with the existing agreement. The seat-sharing ratio between the State government and private institutes would be 40:60 for medical, 35:65 for dental and 45:55 for engineering courses in non-minority institutions. MORE HERE
