Questions have been raised on degree claims of Prez of orthodontic soc and a case has been filed in High court and plea made to Kerala Dental council to cancel his registration.
NOTE: This matter seems sooo complicated and sadly has led to bitter/ prolonged battle between fellow professionals.(particularly due to the election of ortho soc) Dr Varghese has sent a copy of letter from DCI, on the other hand Dr Issac has sent a page from Kerala state Dental council where in Dr Varghese is registered as MDS.

An amendment notification of MCI asked the government to make it mandatory for applicants of all post-graduate courses that stipulates one-year rural posting at primary health centre (PHC) after completion of MBBS course.

Dental Group Advises Fluoride Toothpaste Before Age 2
Parents should use a tiny smear of fluoride toothpaste to brush baby teeth twice daily as soon as they erupt, instead of waiting until children are older, according to new guidelines by the American Dental Association.
