BDS student found hanging in Dental college
A first year student of dental surgery allegedly committed suicide by hanging from a ceiling fan inside her hostel room in Teerthanker Mahaveer University in Moradabad, police said.

Deemed varsities stop medical, dental entrance test process midway
Students who had registered and paid fees for multiple entrance exams for admissions to medical and dental colleges under various deemed universities in Karnataka will no longer take the exams as the universities have cancelled all of them.
Universities such as Manipal University, which had already begun conducting the entrance exam, have decided not to conduct it from Sunday. Many universities have midway stopped receiving applications for these exams....CLICK FOR MORE
COMED-K cancelled
Bengaluru: The late night decision of the Consortium of Medical, Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMED-K) to cancel the medical and dental Under Graduate Entrance Test (UGET) scheduled for Sunday following an interim order of the Supreme Court, left many students confused.
The announcement was made at around 11 pm Friday night on its website, taking many students by surprise. Several rushed to its office in the morning to check for themselves. The notification on the website said while the medical and dental UGET was being cancelled , the entrance exam for engineering would be held on May 8 as scheduled...NEWSLINK
